Super Easy Chili Recipe

This is our favorite chili recipe because it is EASY and can feed us for the entire week! It’s so good that even my picky 4 year old asks me to make it!

Super Easy Chili

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 25 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 lbs. beef, ground, lean
  • 1 med. onion, any type
  • 2 tbs. extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 garlic or minced garlic (1 ½ tablespoons)
  • 14 1/2 oz. tomatoes, diced, canned
  • 1 can of black beans (optional)
  • 1 med. Green bell pepper
  • 1 med. Red bell pepper
  • 3 tbs. chili powder
  • 2 tsp. oregano, dried
  • 1 1/2 tsp. cumin powder
  • sea salt, unrefined, to taste

Directions

Add olive oil to a pan on medium heat. Add ground beef and cook for a few minutes. Add chopped onion, minced garlic and bell peppers, continue to brown the meat. Add tomatoes, chili powder, oregano, cumin, and salt. Cook on low heat for 20-25 minutes. Salt and pepper to taste. You can also top with cheese or sour cream, but not necessary, it is delicious either way! This recipe is so easy and reheats great for leftovers. Make sure you double this recipe if you plan to have leftovers!
